Get Smart
This is my first "intelligent" bot. It was meant to be a maze solving fire fighter robot, but it is a line follower now. It can solve almost and black electrical tape line, but it has problems on the acute angle turns. Get Smart was entered into the Western Canadian Robot Games, it didn't win, but it was fun. I encourage any budding robotics enthusiasts to go to these games. They are held in Calgary, Alberta. www.robotgames.com. I'm 13!
OOPic-R Microcontroller, Tamiya Dual-Motor Gearbox, L298 Motor Driver, 4 QRD1114 infared sensor/emitter pairs, 2 comparator chips for the sensors, many more parts are in there. Good sites to buy parts are www.solarbotics.com, www.hvwtech.com. If you want more information, just click my name at the top to send me an e-mail, no spam please!

Congrats on such a nice
Congrats on such a nice robot. It's impressive that you've already competed. If the robotics hobby had existed when I was 13, I can't imagine how happy I'd have been. Best of luck with your future 'bots.
