Walking
Progress: Completed
Cost: 99.99
Time to Build: 2 weeks
I built this from 1/4" square spruce wood cut from a two by four. I used three servos and a Basic Stamp 2 and it walks forward, backwards and turns left and right. It is powered by two lithium cells. Next development step is to make it radio controlled from a transmitter.

I have to always applaud any
I have to always applaud any robot built out of wood, the underdog material. As well as any robot with a clever design that reduces part count. This is really cool! I gather the robot has essentially one servo to permit a set of legs to raise/drop, and a servo for each side to move the legs on that side? Would love to see more details of the design.
